Admissions

Admission to the Nursery and Reception Class
An open morning for parents is held in November each year, for children who are eligible for admission to school for the next academic year. At this meeting, parents/carers will have the opportunity to see what the nursery and reception classes have to offer. You will also be offered a tour of the school. The criteria for admission are set out clearly in the school’s admission package. We are able to offer 26 full-time places in our nursery class and 30 full-time places in our reception class, to start each September. For children starting in the nursery, there is a phasing in period at the beginning of the academic year.

Admission to the Main School
The Governing Body will consider all applications for admission to the school in accordance with the Admissions Policy and oversubscription criteria. Whenever there are more applications than places available, priority will always be given to Catholic applicants in accordance with the oversubscription criteria.

The Governing Body intends to admit no more than 30 children into the Reception Class in any school year. Parents/carers must complete an application to the Local Authority in the Borough to which they live and a supplementary information form as we are a church school. We also ask you to fill in a census form.
