Year 4
Children are taught a balanced curriculum with core subjects typically in the mornings and a range of foundation subjects in the afternoons. Over the course of the academic year, Year 4 engage in specialist teaching of Music, Physical Education, Drama, Dance, Spanish, Tennis and Drumming.
Our classroom environment fosters children to express themselves, share their thinking and learn from their peers. We encourage collaboration and communication to ensure children become independent and resourceful learners.
Key Information for Year 4:
- PE day (Friday)
- Cricket (Thursday)
- Drumming (Monday)
- Music (Thursday) - Children need to bring in their recorders for these lessons.
- National Multiplication Check (Summer 2024) - 25 questions - 6 seconds per question.
