Welcome to Year 4!

Children are taught a balanced curriculum with core subjects typically in the mornings and a range of foundation subjects in the afternoons. Over the course of the academic year, the class will engage in specialist teaching in Music, Physical Education, Drama, Dance, Spanish, and Drumming!

Our classroom environment fosters children to express themselves, share their thinking and learn from their peers. We encourage collaboration and communication to ensure children become independent and resourceful learners.

- PE day (Friday)

- Dance (Friday)

- Homework due on Thursdays

National Multiplication Check:

In June 2025, Year 4 students will complete a Statutory Multiplication Check. This consists of 25 questions, and they have 6 seconds to answer each one. This check provides valuable assessment data. Throughout Year 4, the class will be given ample support to build confidence in their recall of multiplication sums ahead of the check in June. There is an information guide regarding this attached below.
