At St Mary’s, we are committed to supporting our children and families in growing together in faith.

The Wednesday Word is a wonderful resource that helps families explore the Sunday Gospel together at home. Each week, it provides a simple reflection on the Gospel, alongside prayers, activities and discussion points that children can share with their families.

We encourage all our families to spend a little time each week reading and talking about The Wednesday Word together. It is a lovely way to strengthen the connection between home, school and parish, and to help our children understand how Jesus’ teachings can guide them in their everyday lives.

The Wednesday Word supports our mission as a Catholic school by encouraging children to listen to God’s Word, reflect upon its meaning and put their faith into action.
