At St Mary’s Catholic Primary School, our Relationships, Sex and Health Education (RSHE) curriculum is rooted in our Catholic faith and supports children to develop positive relationships, respect for themselves and others, and the knowledge and skills they need to stay safe, healthy and happy.

Following consultation with parents and carers, our updated RSHE Policy was formally ratified by the Full Governing Body on 23 September 2026. RSHE Policy 2026-2027

We follow the Diocese of Westminster Primary RSHE Curriculum, delivered through the Ten Ten Resources Life to the Full programme, alongside learning through Religious Education, Science, Computing, PE, safeguarding and the wider curriculum. All teaching is carefully sequenced, age-appropriate and consistent with the Catholic character and teachings of our school. RSHE Policy 2026-2027

Mental Health and Wellbeing workshops

The Year 6 children were able to participate in a series of fun and interactive workshops, where the facilitators helped to promote mental health awareness and supported the children to challenge stigma. The Learn Well Programme helped to promote wellbeing strategies and coping skills, raised the children's awareness of the mental health support options available to them, and empowered them to develop resilience.
