Advent Service at Westminster Cathedral

Year 3 recently attended the Advent carol service at Westminster Cathedral organised by the Catholic Children’s Society.

The service included live animals and a narrated retelling of the Nativity, which helped the children make meaningful links to their recent RE learning on the Annunciation to Mary and Joseph. We were pleased that two pupils, Abigail and Ezekiel, represented St Mary’s during the offertory by presenting our school’s donation to support the charity.
