Harvest
The whole school gathered in the hall to celebrate the Harvest Season. Through their beautiful singing and heartfelt prayers, the children praised and gave thanks to God for all the wonderful blessings He has given us. They also gave thanks for the many people who work hard to grow, prepare, and deliver the food we enjoy every day.
Families across the school showed great generosity, with considerable donations collected to support The Upper Room charity, which helps those in need within our local community.
“I think it’s very important to donate food to charities because there are so many people who have far less than us,” said one pupil.
It was a joyful and meaningful celebration, reminding us all of the importance of gratitude, generosity, and faith in action.

Food Bank
Well done to the wonderful community at St Mary's School for coming together in an incredible effort to support those in need. 💖 Over the past few weeks, students, parents, and teachers have generously donated an impressive amount of food to our local food bank, run by the amazing charity, The Upper Rooms. 🥫🌍
Your kindness and compassion truly make a difference in the lives of many. This initiative not only highlights our commitment to helping others, but it also teaches our young people the importance of community spirit and empathy.
