Year 5

Over this academic year, Year 5 children are taught a balanced curriculum with core subjects typically in the mornings and a range of foundation subjects in the afternoons. Over the course of the academic year, Year 5 children engage in specialist teaching of Music, Physical Education, Drama, Dance, Spanish, Tennis, Drumming and Swimming.

Our classroom environment fosters children to express themselves, share their thinking and learn from their peers. We encourage collaboration and communication to ensure children become independent and resourceful learners.
